8 cups all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
4 tablespoon baking powder
2 teaspoon salt
4 cups buttermilk
12 large eggs
9 tablespoons orange blossom water
For Mascarpone Cream
2 pounds cream cheese at room temperature
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup confectioner’s sugar
8 cups sliced strawberries
4 tablespoons sugar
Put the cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl and whip it with an electric mixer. Slowly add the cream and the confectioner’s sugar. Set aside.
Put the berries in a large bowl. Add the sugar and toss. Refrigerate.
Put all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix them together by hand. In a smaller bowl, whisk the eggs, buttermilk and orange blossom water together. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
Pour mixture into pan and cook until golden.
